A faithful, safe response to Coronavirus
Worship Services at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church RESUMED
UPDATE: The Reverend Kathleen J. Baker, STM, has recovered from coronavirus and has resumed her usual office hours and duties at Good Shepherd. Worship services at the church resumed on January 27, 2021.
On Tuesday, January 12, 2021, Pastor Baker tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Pastor Baker first experienced symptoms (a severe headache) on Saturday, January 9, which she initially attributed to the end of a stressful week. When her symptoms did not subside, she obtained a COVID-19 rapid test, which yielded a positive result. Pastor Baker isolated at home according to Pennsylvania Department of Health guidelines and returned to work on Monday, January 25.
Pastor Baker is grateful for prayers offered, expressions of care and concern, and gestures of kindness extended to her and the Baker/Petrushke family during their time of isolation.
